RSS

What is RSS? RSS is a format for syndicating news and the content of news-like sites, and personal weblogs. Many web-sites are now publishing pages in RSS format and The Newwws is ideally suited to let you easily view the content.

How does it work?

First step is to download the evaluation copy of The Newwws. See the link at the top of this page for help on this.
When The Newwws is installed and running simply write click on it's icon in the system tray and select the "Create source for RSS feed..." option.
Next type in or paste a link to an RSS feed, give it a name and click the test button to make sure it works.
Next click the OK button and then save the new Source to a library. To view the content select the ticker or watch window from the options and click OK again. And that's it!

RSS Sources

Here are a collection of RSS feeds already stored in a library for you to import directly in to The Newwws. Simply save the following file to your hard disk and then double-click it to run the import.

RSS Feeds: Right-click and choose "Save Target as..." to save file.

We'll keep this library up-to-date and add to it as and when we find more useful RSS feeds.
