The Newwws from Wordcraft is the entry level product of The Newwws
Family. It is focused on retrieving up-to-date information from the Internet
and presenting that information in a simple, easy-to-access way on the desktop.
Simply put, The Newwws provides you with the information you want, when you
want it and how you want it.
How does it work? The Newwws uses Sources to
identify information on web-sites and to monitor them for changes. When a
change occurs, or something is added to the web-site you are informed.
The Newwws comes installed with hundreds of pre-defined internet sources.
There are many thousands more freely available for download from the on-line
Newwws
Exchange. More importantly, you can easily create your own sources - either
with two clicks of the mouse, or using The Newwws Editor Wizard for more
flexibility.
Look and Feel
You can view the information through the scrolling ticker window that gives you summaries of all the available information, or through the watch window that displays the newest information, as it is created. From either view the full document is one click away.
